Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Germany from 15 to 20 December. He will interact with Indian tourists there and will also meet some ministers of the German government. Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has hit back at BJP’s question on Rahul’s proposed visit. He asked that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi spends half of his working time abroad then why is the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha being questioned.
Reacting to BJP’s question on Rahul’s visit during the winter session of Parliament, Priyanka Gandhi said in the Parliament Complex, “Modi ji spends half of his working time outside the country, so why is BJP raising questions on the visit of the opposition leader?”
Rahul Gandhi is a “LOP” (Leader of Tourism).
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala had earlier written in a post, “Once again, foreign leaders are doing what they do best: going on foreign tours.” Parliament will continue till December 19, but reports suggest that Rahul Gandhi will visit Germany from December 15 to 20.” He joked that Rahul Gandhi is LOP, which means “Leader of Tourism.”
Once again, our LoP (Rahul Gandhi) is going on break in the middle of the Parliament session.
From the 15th onwards, he would not be seen in Parliament again; He is rarely seen in Parliament.
It has become a habit of his to disappear at every important moment.
Our LoP is going on a break once again.
Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Tuhin Sinha said, “Once again, our LoP Rahul Gandhi is going on a break in the middle of the Parliament session. He will not be seen in Parliament again from the 15th; he is rarely seen in Parliament anyway. It has become a habit of his to disappear at every important moment.”
