New Delhi, December 23 (IANS). Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha hit back at Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s statement praising the Bihar government. He said that even today Bihar supplies laborers to other states.
This statement of the RJD MP has come at a time when Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who reached Nalanda in Bihar, praised the development of the state.
Speaking to IANS in New Delhi, RJD MP Manoj Jha said that Shashi Tharoor is a very learned leader, but it would have been better to look a little below the surface. Bihar has become the center of labor supply. Investment is happening in Maharashtra and Gujarat, but why not in Bihar? Our work remains only to supply labourers. From Kerala to Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat and Maharashtra. He said that Shashi Tharoor could not see this or did not want to see it.
On BJP’s allegations on Rahul Gandhi’s statement regarding China in Berlin, Manoj Jha said that why is there an uproar just because Rahul Gandhi said this? Is this not the truth? Shouldn’t the leader of the opposition or any political leader be worried about why things which were possible in our country are going to China?
Manoj Jha responded to BJP national president JP Nadda’s statement ‘Congress people were involved in the 2013 Naxalite attack’, calling it a serious allegation. He said that this is a very serious allegation. You are part of the government, if it is true then present evidence. Don’t end the conversation by just making a political statement. I will then ask a series of questions – what happened in Pahalgam? What happened in Pulwama? Till date we have not heard anything. We paid tribute and the work ended the next day.
