The application process for Secondary Education Eligibility Test (SET) has started by Bihar School Examination Committee (BSEB). Candidates who want to apply for Bihar STET 2025 can complete the application process through online. Educational qualification
In order to apply for the Secondary Education Eligibility Test, candidates are required to have a graduate or postgraduate passing with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized institute in India. Also, candidates should have B.Ed degrees and other prescribed qualifications.
Exam pattern
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. In the written examination, the candidates will be asked for a multiple choice type of questions specified and teaching art and other efficiency subjects.
Age limit
The minimum age of candidates to apply should be 21 years till August 01, 2025. However, age relaxation will also be given to special category candidates. The maximum age for general class male candidates is 37 years, 40 years for general and other backward class women candidates and 42 years for SC and ST candidates.
Examination fee
Candidates will also have to pay the examination fee to apply. For the general, other backward classes, economically weaker class candidates who want to apply for only one paper, the examination fee for them is Rs 960 and the examination fee for both papers has been fixed at Rs 1440. In addition, the candidates of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Divyang class who want to apply for only one paper have been fixed at Rs 760 and the examination fee for both papers has been fixed at Rs 1140.
