Kia’s total sales in 2025 stood at 2,80,286 units, an increase of 15 percent compared to last year.
Kia India has ended the calendar year 2025 with a strong performance. The company recorded its strongest ever annual performance since its entry into India. Kia India’s total wholesale sales in the year 2025 stood at 2,80,286 units, which represents an increase of 15 percent as compared to 2.45 lakh units recorded in the year 2024. This consistent growth shows that Indian customers are liking the brand, and its range of cars across different segments has helped in this.
The last month of the calendar year was particularly important for the company. December 2025 proved to be Kia India’s best December ever, with wholesale sales of 18,659 units. This figure represents an annual increase of 105 percent compared to 8,957 units sold in the same month last year.
Kia Sonet played an important role in this spectacular performance. The compact SUV once again crossed the mark of 1 lakh units in annual sales. Achieving this feat for the second consecutive year, the Sonet continues to be a strong pillar of Kia’s sales in India’s most competitive segment. Along with Sonet, Seltos also contributed significantly to sales.
Other models of the company also got good response from the market. According to Kia, the Carens, Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV received positive feedback from customers. In the premium segment, the fourth generation Carnival Limousine and EV6 also attracted the attention of the customers. Kia hopes to continue growing at the same pace in 2026. The recently introduced second generation Kia Seltos is going to play an important role in boosting the company’s sales in the coming times.
Along with this, established models like Sonet and Carens range will also continue to strengthen the brand. Official prices of the new Seltos will be announced tomorrow in India. This model comes with many changes in design and features and is based on the global K3 architecture. Along with products, Kia India also paid special attention to the expansion of its retail and service network. During the year 2025, the company has expanded its network to 369 cities and strengthened its presence with a total of 821 touchpoints.
Talking about the company’s performance and future plans, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President (Sales & Marketing) said,
“2025 was a year of consistent and sustainable growth for Kia India, driven by the launch of key new models such as the Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV, enhanced trim options across key models such as the Seltos, Carens and Sonet, driven by operational improvements, strengthened sales and service, and enhanced customer experience.”
