New Delhi, January 9 (IANS). In winter, be it pea and paneer curry or paneer parathas can make anyone’s mouth water, but do you know that in winter, paneer is a powerhouse of strength for bones and muscles, which provides countless benefits to the body?
Paneer made from pure milk gives equal benefits in every season. Consuming cheese in summer cools the stomach, whereas in winter, cheese provides healthy fats to the body and keeps the body temperature balanced.
It is believed in Ayurveda that if cottage cheese is consumed with the right spices, it prevents the increase in phlegm and the body gets both protein and calcium in abundance.
Consumption of cheese is beneficial for the muscles and also helps in gradual muscle recovery. The protein and calcium present in it are vital for the muscles and also strengthen the body from within. Besides this, cheese is a boon for bones. The combination of calcium and phosphorus provides new energy to the bones and also prevents the possibility of joint pain and joint related diseases.
Paneer also plays a key role in weight control. Being rich in protein, cheese gets digested slowly in the stomach due to which one does not feel hungry again and again. If breakfast made from cheese is eaten once, hunger remains away for a long time.
Very few people know that cheese also helps in balancing hormones. Paneer supports the nervous system, due to which Vitamin B12 is also supplied properly in the body.
Now the question is which people should avoid cheese. If your digestive power is weak and you have difficulty digesting heavy food, then consume cottage cheese in small quantities. Cheese is heavy and digests slowly. In such a situation, there may be problem of gas and indigestion.
Apart from this, if there is a problem of cough, then consume cottage cheese in limited quantity in the morning. Avoid eating raw cheese and eat spicy cheese.
