Asia cup 2025 India vs Pakistan: Due to Pahalgam attack, one-sided India-Pakistan match is being opposed across India. At the same time, the opposition politicians of the country are also not backing down from giving strict messages through their votes. Maharashtra Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray has made a big announcement amid various movements to stop the match. Uddhav Thackeray said that on September 14, on the day of India Pakistan match in the Asia Cup, Shiv Sena will run a vermilion rescue movement in the streets of Maharashtra.
Uddhav Thackeray said that in this movement, Shiv Sena will take a journey on the streets and streets of Maharashtra with more and more posters. During this time, the women workers of the Shiv Sena UBT faction will take to the streets and send Prime Minister Narendra Modi to vermilion, on which the sindoor should be written, Modi ji will have written. Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray held a press conference on Matoshree on Saturday 13 December. During this, he launched a scathing attack on the Central Government and BCCI through his statement. He said that on one hand Pakistan is shedding blood of our soldiers and citizens, on the other hand the government is playing cricket from Pakistan. Uddhav said that this is an insult to the sacrifice of the martyrs of Pahalgam. At the same time, Thackeray also announced that his party will launch widespread agitation in the entire Maharashtra including Mumbai on Sunday (14 September). This movement has been named the vermilion rescue movement.
Major things of the movement
During this movement, special attention will be taken on some of these issues.
1. No Cricket withdrawn but effective performance with the slogan of Pakistan Honor First.
2. As part of the ‘Sindoor’ campaign ‘every household’, women will send Prime Minister Narendra Modi to vermilion and register their protest.
3. Symbolistic donation campaign messages against BCCI- slogans like ‘patriotism not sold’.
4. Public awareness will be done by raising posters, banners and patriotic slogans in the rally.
Shinde faction’s sharp statement
Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has attacked the Uddhav faction. Shiv Sena spokesperson MP Naresh Mhaske said that Uddhav Thackeray’s party had no moral right to oppose the India-Pakistan cricket match. Those who throw stones at the operation vermilion should not worry about ‘vermilion’. He further stated that in fact, people who express doubts on ‘Operation Sindoor’ said, who expressed doubts over the bravery shown by the country’s soldiers, have no moral right to talk about sindoor. Now when elections are coming, did he remember the word ‘honor’? He said that those who carry ISI agents and accused of bomb blasts in election campaign should not pronounce a holy word like vermilion. These statements are expected to cause heavy political stir in Maharashtra. Also, there can be a big ruckus in both Shiv Sena groups.
