New Delhi . Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj of insulting the Constitution and Dalit and tribal society. BJP’s Delhi unit chief Virendra Sachdeva said that Arvind Kejriwal should apologize for Saurabh Bhardwaj’s remarks and he should be dismissed from the party. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said while talking to the media on Wednesday, “The statement given by Saurabh Bhardwaj at the behest of Arvind Kejriwal is an insult to Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Constitution and our Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe brothers and sisters. He said some baseless things yesterday, which shows his helplessness.” Referring to Saurabh Bhardwaj’s press conference, Virendra Sachdeva said, “I strongly condemn his entire press statement, but it is important to pay attention to the last two lines. In those lines, he had commented on the election of two Presidents during the NDA government. He made the statement that ‘Even after searching for the post of President, such people were appointed in front of whom other leaders look big.’ This statement of Saurabh Bhardwaj is condemnable.”
He said, “If Ramnath Kovind from Dalit community and Draupadi Murmu from tribal community become the President, then the pride of all Dalit and tribal people of India increases. But at the behest of Arvind Kejriwal, indecent remarks were made by Saurabh Bhardwaj.”
Virendra Sachdeva demanded that Arvind Kejriwal should take action in this matter and expel Saurabh Bhardwaj from the party. Along with this, Arvind Kejriwal should come forward and apologize for this comment.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday morning, Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj raised questions on the appointment of the new BJP president. He wrote on social media platform
Let us tell you that Nitin Nabin has been made the new President of BJP, who took charge on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and former president JP Nadda were also present on this occasion.
