Motorola is once again making a big bet in the premium smartphone segment. The company is launching its Motorola Signature in India on January 23. Its price and storage variants have been leaked even before its launch. This phone will have flagship features like Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, 5200mAh battery and 1TB storage. The phone will also have 50MP cameras. Its microsite has already gone live on Flipkart.
Estimated price and storage options
According to tipster Sanju Chaudhary, the starting price of Motorola Signature in India could be Rs 64,999. This price is for 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. The top model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage can cost around Rs 69,999. Interestingly, the previously leaked box price had stated a price of Rs 84,999. The newly leaked price may make it even more attractive in the premium segment. This phone will be available for sale in India through Flipkart.
Flagship power in display and performance
The Motorola Signature will feature a 6.8-inch Super HD LTPO AMOLED display with 1264×2780 pixels resolution. This display supports 165Hz refresh rate, 450ppi pixel density, and peak brightness of up to 6200 nits. This phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 octa-core chipset based on Qualcomm’s 3nm process.
Camera, Audio and Premium Design
The phone will have a triple rear camera setup, which will have a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor. This camera supports 3.5x optical zoom, which further improves the photo quality. It also includes a 50MP UW AF and 50MP LYT600 3x periscope camera. Motorola Signature has premium audio features like Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and Sound by Bose. The aluminum frame of the phone gives it strength, and it measures 6.99mm in thickness and weighs 186 grams.
Battery, Software and Availability
Motorola Signature packs a 5200mAh silicon-carbon battery, which promises long battery life. The smartphone runs on Hello UI based on Android 16, which was first introduced globally at CES 2026. It will be available in Pantone Martini Olive and Pantone Carbon color options.
