Dehradun, January 23 (IANS). Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Chintan Shivir and ‘Dialogue on Vision-2047’ program organized in Dehradun on Friday. During this, he clarified that the state is rapidly moving towards this goal through various departments.
Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Developed India resolution 2047 is also being strongly adopted by Uttarakhand. He stressed that the state systems need to be developed at the grassroots level. Science and Technology and other departments are together realizing the resolve of a developed India in every village. Central and state government schemes are easily reaching the general public.
Referring to the Jan-Jan ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan ke Dwar programme, he said that so far about 4 lakh people have taken advantage of it. Also, projects like ropeway in Dehradun are also important steps towards a developed Uttarakhand.
Posting on the social media platform ‘X’, the Chief Minister said that in the program he heard the views of the enlightened people and addressed the public like a god. The findings from this brainstorming will set a strong vision for Uttarakhand and a clear roadmap for Developed India 2047. The Prime Minister’s resolve for a developed India was described as the aspiration of the people of the country. The aim of making India a world leader by 2047 should not be limited to mere statistics, but should be based on human-centric, inclusive and sustainable development.
In the context of Uttarakhand, development passes through the environment, hence it is important to move forward with a balance of ecology and economy. The foundation of developed Uttarakhand rests on three pillars, good governance, technology and innovation, and people-centric development. Decisions taken with transparency, accountability and sensitivity will take the state to new heights.
This two-day thinking camp was organized at the Civil Services Institute, where while addressing the senior administrative officials, the Chief Minister stressed on preparing a time-bound roadmap. A practical and time-bound strategy is being made for the future of the state through in-depth discussions in all key areas. The objective of the program is to ensure a strong role of Uttarakhand in the goal of a developed India.
Chief Minister Dhami said that this camp is inspiring and fills with energy. The state government is balancing economic development with environmental protection. Efforts like ropeway and Jan-Jan ki Sarkar reflect public welfare and infrastructure development.
