Mumbai, January 23 (IANS). BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has said that he will go to the police station again and demand action if police action is not taken against Sahar Sheikh, who won the election from Mumbra on AIMIM ticket and became councilor.
Sharing Sahar Shaikh’s statement on social media platform “We will paint the entire Mumbra green,” he had said.
Kirit Somaiya further wrote that he will go to Mumbra police station again at 10:30 am on Saturday for action on his complaint.
Let us tell you that after her victory, Sahar Sheikh had said that we want to achieve even bigger success in the elections to be held after five years. We want to give them a befitting reply. We want to paint Mumbra green in such a way that these people are ousted. Every candidate who wins in Mumbai in five years will be from AIMIM.
Kirit Somaiya had filed a complaint regarding Sahar Sheikh’s statement. Now he says that the police is not taking action, so on Saturday he will again go to the police station and demand action.
However, AIMIM leader Waris Pathan has said on this controversy that Sahar has defeated veteran leaders. She has also clarified her statement that she said that she will take AIMIM forward. The party color is green, so he talked about coloring it green. Had the party been any other colour, she would have said the same colour. Giving communal color to this matter should be avoided.
However, there is a lot of politics going on over this statement of Sahar Sheikh. After registering the FIR, Kirit Somaiya has demanded that action be taken as soon as possible. He says that if the police does not take action, he will go to the police station again.
