Lucknow, January 31 (IANS). The Union Budget will be presented in Parliament on Sunday, regarding which discussion has intensified in political circles. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that this budget will become the voice of farmers, youth, women, industrialists and the poor. Describing it as an ‘inclusive budget’, he said that through this the thought of development will reach every section of the society.

Brajesh Pathak praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that after the year 2014, big changes have been seen in the country. He claimed that due to the policies and schemes of the government, about 25 crore people have risen above the poverty line. Pathak said that this is a proof of the government’s commitment to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person of the society.

At the same time, India’s Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal said that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget for the ninth consecutive time tomorrow. He said that the Prime Minister’s aim is to make India a “developed India” and economic policies are being decided with this in mind.

Arjun Ram Meghwal said that in economic surveys it is seen how the ratio of GDP with manufacturing sector should increase, how the balance of GDP with agriculture sector should be strengthened and how the economic indicators of the country should become better. According to him, all these initiatives are being taken to give a strong direction to the country’s economy.

Meanwhile, Meghwal expressed displeasure over the behavior of the opposition during the President’s address. He said that the opposition created ruckus during the President’s speech, which is against institutional traditions. Both the Prime Minister and the leader of the opposition were present in the House and most of the MPs from the ruling party and the opposition were also present. Despite this, as soon as the President started speaking, the opposition started making noise.

Arjun Ram Meghwal said that such behavior is not appropriate for democracy and it sets a wrong example. He appealed that all parties should respect the dignity and traditions of Parliament.
