In Pakistan’s Balochistan province, security forces have carried out the biggest and most decisive action against terrorists so far. In this aggressive operation of the army, 145 terrorists have been killed within the last 40 hours. Considering the seriousness of the situation and the scale of the operation, high alert has been issued in the entire province. This action has been taken in response to the increasing terrorist activities in the area, which has created panic among the terrorist organizations.

Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed the big success, said – those who play with the security of the state will not be spared at any cost.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti officially confirmed the operation during a press conference in Quetta on Sunday. He said that due to better coordination between security forces and intelligence agencies, precise attacks have been carried out on the hideouts of terrorists. The Chief Minister said in clear words that the aim of the government is to establish peace in the province and any elements who will challenge the sovereignty of the state by taking up arms will be dealt with in the strictest manner. The administration has made it clear that this operation will continue till the complete elimination of terrorists.

High alert declared in entire Balochistan, army patrolling increased in sensitive areas and intensive search of suspects is being done on the borders.

After the killing of such a large number of terrorists, security arrangements have been tightened in view of the danger of possible retaliatory attacks. The deployment of security forces has been increased in all major cities of the province, especially Quetta and its surrounding areas. Every person coming and going is being searched by blocking the entry and exit points of the cities. The administration has also appealed to the common citizens to remain alert and immediately report any suspicious activity or object around them to the police.

The operation that broke the back of terrorist organizations, the government has adopted the strictest attitude till date for restoration of peace and development.

Experts believe that this is one of the biggest anti-terrorism operations ever in the history of Balochistan. The killing of 145 terrorists is a major blow to the separatist and extremist groups operating there. The government says that the people of Balochistan want peace and development, but some external and internal elements are trying to spoil the environment there. Through this action, the security forces have tried to convey the message that now a policy of ‘zero tolerance’ will be adopted against terrorism.
