Etawah News: Progressive Samajwadi Party (Lohia) president Shivpal Singh Yadav, who arrived at the monthly meeting of Samajwadi Party in Etawah, fiercely targeted the central and state government. During the meeting, he reacted sharply to the statement of Swami Rambhadracharya, who described western UP as “Mini Pakistan” and said that Rambhadracharya is no longer visible. He taunted and said, “He formed the government and it is his kingdom. In such a situation, his statements pity.”
He further said that the poll of the Bharatiya Janata Party has been exposed. In the states where there is a BJP government, these people have made their government by stealing votes. Now we will not let these people steal. The public has also understood the BJP has cheated them.
Shivpal Singh also expressed concern over the danger of the recent aircraft accident at Lucknow Airport, in which SP MP Dimple Yadav was riding. He said that even air travel in this government is no longer safe. “Earlier we used to understand that air travel is completely safe, but now it is also in danger. The government is only engaged in extortion and robbing the public.”
He also questioned the smart meters being installed by the Electricity Department. He said that these smart meters go very fast and are putting additional burden on consumers. Earlier, the electricity bill which used to come ₹ 2000 has reached ₹ 5000 ₹ 7000 after the smart meter. No more expensive electricity is in any state of the country as it is in Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking on the problems of farmers, he raised the issue of shortage of DAP and urea fertilizer. Shivpal said that farmers have to stand in long lines throughout the day to take fertilizer. Earlier, fertilizer sacks were available for 50 kg, but the current government has earlier reduced it to 45 and now 40 kg, while prices are touching the sky.
Emphasizing organizational preparations at the meeting, Shivpal said that the party’s national, district and booth level workers have gathered to throw their full strength in the 2027 elections.
