The week started strongly, with Nifty rising 211 points to close at 25,682 on Monday. Today is the weekly expiry of Nifty. Technically, buyers are expected to return to the market. However, SGX Nifty is down 75 points, indicating a gap-down opening. Find out which stocks have been picked by analysts today as part of Zee Business’ TRADERS DIARY programme. Other important factors in the market include the closing of the US market yesterday and the rise of 49 points in the Dow Jones Industrial Average on Friday. Despite the market rally, foreign investors sold shares yesterday. FIIs sold ₹972 crore in the cash market, while DIIs bought ₹1,666 crore.

Today is ‘No Trigger Day’
America is closed, results season is over.
No significant fluctuations were seen in metals.
Trump’s social media handles remained quiet.
After the chaos, IT stocks also rose.
What to do if the market opens below the gap?
Tomorrow’s low will not be broken easily.
25375-25500 is a good buying range on gap-down openings.
Bank Nifty will lead the recovery. A tremendous rise will be seen in Bank Nifty above 61000.
