New Delhi, February 18 (IANS). Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said that the CBI investigation into the death of former Deputy CM Ajit Pawar will answer the questions arising in the minds of people. The MP said this after Maharashtra Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar raised the demand for a CBI inquiry into the death of her husband Ajit Pawar.
Speaking to IANS in New Delhi, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said that Sunetra Pawar is the Deputy CM of Maharashtra and this tragic incident has affected her family. Her husband was a well-known leader of Maharashtra. His family also held a press conference about what the condition of the aircraft was like, what the black box was like and its condition was so bad that it might need to be sent abroad. For all these reasons, Sunetra Pawar made this demand and the government has accepted it. This CBI investigation will provide answers to many questions of the public.
On West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statement on the Election Commission, Priyanka Chaturvedi said that the transparency and independence that should be there in the Election Commission is not there. Whatever work is being done in the Election Commission, it is according to the expectations or wishes of the government. It is important for the Commission to remain impartial, but the public is raising many questions regarding the election process and their voting rights. There is a Tughlaqi atmosphere somewhere.
Regarding UGC, Priyanka Chaturvedi said that first of all I would like to say that the Supreme Court’s decision has come regarding the UGC guidelines, in which a stay has been imposed. The stay was given on the grounds that the guidelines were going against natural justice. To remove discrimination, more discrimination was being brought into universities, which was unfortunate and dangerous for the coming generation.
Regarding AI Summit, Priyanka Chaturvedi said that AI Summit focuses on your work related to innovation, finding new ideas and developing learning models, but if someone tries to take credit for another person’s invention or claim it, then it is sheer plagiarism and it is not right for the country. When such a big summit is taking place, in which so many big and international people are participating, then no one can claim that this is our creation and just the Chinese handlers expose it, this is not acceptable. I think Galgotias University should apologize.
