Bhansali Productions posted on social media, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali is absolutely fine. He has gone for routine medical checkup and there is nothing to worry about. We are deeply grateful for the love, care and concern shown by everyone. Thank you for your continuous support and good wishes.” In the statement issued by the team, it was said that all the news spreading about Sanjay Leela Bhansali is false. The news of him having a heart attack and being admitted to the hospital is baseless. The team appealed to the people and media not to spread any kind of news without verification and not to rely on rumours.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali celebrated his 63rd birthday on 24 February. On this occasion, many big stars of the film industry wished him on social media and personally. The day after the birthday celebration, some online reports started claiming that his health suddenly deteriorated during the party and he was immediately taken to the hospital.
