New Delhi, March 8 (IANS). It is said that a woman, along with her family, also handles office and outside work. Amidst many responsibilities, health is often ignored, which is not right. In such a situation, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India has appealed to women to keep their health first.
The ministry says that a healthy and strong woman is the foundation of a strong family and society. Therefore, women should take special care of their physical and mental health. Healthy women are the identity of a strong society. Women should take care of themselves along with their responsibilities. These small steps can make big changes in the long run.
Experts have given some easy but effective suggestions on this special day, which women can adopt in everyday life to keep themselves healthy and full of energy. For this, first include yoga or pranayam in your daily routine. Yoga and pranayam strengthen both mind and body. This reduces stress, increases concentration and keeps the body flexible. Even just 20-30 minutes of exercise in the morning is very beneficial.
Adopt a balanced diet, for this eat seasonal fruits, green vegetables, whole grains and pulses. Consume Ayurvedic drinks like Tulsi tea, ginger-turmeric milk or Amla juice daily. They increase immunity and nourish the body.
Drink enough water to stay healthy. According to health experts, it is important to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water throughout the day. Good hydration keeps skin glowing, improves digestion and strengthens immunity.
Good sleep is very important to remain physically as well as mentally healthy. Deep sleep of 7 to 8 hours daily is very important. Good sleep repairs the body, removes fatigue and gives new energy for the next day.
Also take out moments for small happiness. Taking time for yourself is also part of health. Reading books, listening to music, talking to friends or doing your favorite work, these small pleasures keep the mind fresh.
