New Delhi, March 10 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party is going to organize a big youth conference in Assam regarding its organization and political expansion. The objective of this program is to connect the youth of the state and make them aware about the activities of the party and the schemes of the government.
About one lakh youth from across the state are expected to participate in this youth conference to be held on March 15 in Guwahati.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend this conference and interact with the youth. According to party sources, the objective of this program is not only to connect the youth with the party, but also to draw attention to the development initiatives of the central government and future plans in Assam. On this occasion, the youth will be given information about various projects of the government and their benefits, so that they can be made aware of the development work happening at the local and national level.
Along with this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit Assam. He will reach Guwahati on March 13 and participate in a government program. After this, on March 14, the Prime Minister will go to Kokrajhar, where he is likely to participate in another program related to the ongoing development works and schemes in the state. These visits of the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister are being seen as political activism and organizational strengthening of the BJP in the North East.
The party believes that such events not only activate young voters but also strengthen the organizational structure of the party in the state. Apart from this, this youth conference will also provide an opportunity to highlight the development schemes of the Central and State Government and clarify their impact among the local people.
