New Delhi, 16 September (IANS). Belly fat has become a common problem in today’s run -of -the -mill life. Working on a chair for hours, the effect of untimely eating and stress is first visible on the stomach. Many times people sweat in the gym for hours, but it has no effect on belly fat. Yoga is the easiest and effective way to deal with it.
In yoga, there are many asanas to reduce belly fat, but ‘Matsyasana’ works fast on it. Matsyasana’s name is made up of two Sanskrit words, ‘Matsya’ means fish and ‘Asan’ means seating posture.
In this posture, the condition of the body becomes somewhat like a fish, in which the chest is raised upwards and the head is bent backwards.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Matsyasana directly affects the abdominal muscles, which affects the fat stored there. When you do this asana properly, stretch in the veins and muscles of the stomach, which improves blood circulation and the fat gradually starts decreasing.
Apart from reducing belly fat, Matsyasana helps to overcome many more problems of the body. First of all, it makes the spinal cord flexible, which reduces problems such as back pain and body stiffness, for those who work on computers or mobiles for a long time, this asana is a relief practice.
Matsyasana strengthens the chest and improves breathing ability, which gives strength to the lungs. It is also useful for those who are struggling with asthma or shortness of breath.
This asana is also considered very beneficial for women. This asana can be quite relief for women who feel stomach ache, cramps or discomfort during menstruation. It has a positive effect on the uterine muscles and helps maintain hormone balance.
