Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar has made a big revelation regarding the military attacks on Iran. He has made it clear that the decision to attack Iran was taken after the end of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Israel tour. This statement has been given to refute the claims that the attack was planned at the time of PM Modi’s visit. Speaking to ANI on March 16, 2026, he told that Israel and America have no intention of occupying Iran but want regional peace.

Ambassador Ruven Azar has clarified many things regarding the timing of the attack.
On 25 and 26 February 2026, PM Modi went on a two-day visit to Israel. The decision to attack was taken by the Israeli Security Cabinet two days after the visit, on 28 February. He clarified that there was no discussion or planning of this attack during the conversation with PM Modi. The timing of the attack was decided on the basis of intelligence. During this visit, 17 important agreements were signed between India and Israel on defence, AI technology and trade.

Israel has informed that after the joint operation, Iran’s defense systems have weakened and missile attacks have reduced to about 10 a day.
