Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticized the Uttar Pradesh government on the death of a medical student after an encounter with animal smugglers in Mauchapi village of Gorakhpur on Tuesday, saying that the incident has highlighted the decline of law and order in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s constituency.
Yadav claimed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly committing crimes in the constituency, including the murder of a businessman. He said, “This is not the first incident in the assembly constituency of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath – even before the police had killed a businessman in Gorakhpur. Gorakhpur and its surrounding areas are getting unjust in Gorakhpur and its surrounding areas. What is the police raising serious questions on law and order?”
According to the police, the response came after a ruthless murder by 19 -year -old NEET candidate Deepak Gupta on Monday night in Mauchapi village of Pipraich police station area of Gorakhpur, after violent protests, stone pelting and road jammed.
The SP chief urged the Uttar Pradesh government to investigate animal trafficking in Gorakhpur and demanded compensation of Rs 5 crore for the family of the deceased medical student and a government job. He said, “In the Gorakhpur incident, it is being said that they were smuggling the bovine. The government should consider that the people are involved in the garbage and such heinous murders. Give a compensation of crores of rupees and a government job, because the Chief Minister should know how expensive medical studies are. “
The Samajwadi Party chief emphasized the seriousness of the issue in view of the political importance of Gorakhpur. Akhilesh Yadav said, “Such crimes are happening continuously in Ghazipur, Kaushambi and Gorakhpur, but no major action has been taken so far. The government and police rights have ended. The right of the government and police is over. Gorakhpur is the home area of the Chief Minister and if there are such incidents, it is really serious concern.”
