Gandhinagar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on Gujarat tour on Tuesday. Where he will inaugurate the Samrat Samprati Museum located at Koba Tirtha in Gandhinagar. After this he will go to Ahmedabad, where he will inaugurate many development projects. According to the information, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the museum located in the premises of Mahavir Jain Worship Center at around 10:00 am, where the museum, named after Emperor Samprati, the grandson of Emperor Ashoka and a revered figure in Jain history, has seven parts, each of which is dedicated to a specific aspect of the civilizational traditions of India. According to the Prime Minister, “This museum not only preserves our heritage but also showcases the exemplary Jain culture and its lasting impact on society.”
Subsequently, at 12:45 pm, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Keynes Semicon plant located at Sanand GIDC, Ahmedabad, which will prove to be an important milestone in India’s semiconductor sector.
“This will further accelerate India’s efforts to become a semiconductor hub. This will encourage India to become self-reliant in high technology manufacturing,” Prime Minister Modi said on social media platform ‘X’.
The plant will begin commercial production of Advanced Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs), critical components for automotive and industrial applications. Each module has 17 chips and will be supplied to California-based Alpha & Omega Semiconductor (AOS).
This plant will be the second semiconductor plant in India to start commercial production under the ‘India Semiconductor Mission’. Before this comes Micron Technology.
Prime Minister Modi will also visit Vav-Tharad, where he will lay the foundation stone, inaugurate and dedicate several development projects worth more than Rs 20,000 crore. These projects include power, railways, roads and highways, health, urban development, tribal development and rural development.
According to the information, among the major road projects, PM Modi will inaugurate the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, a controlled highway built at a cost of more than Rs 5,100 crore, which will improve connectivity and promote industrial development in the Dholera Special Investment Region.
He will also lay the foundation stone of four-lane Idar-Badoli bypass and upgrade the Dholavira-Mouwana-Vav-Santalpur section of NH-754 to two-lane metalled shoulder carriageway.
After this, flyovers will be inaugurated at Bhaijipura Junction and PDPU Junction, which will reduce traffic congestion on the roads which carry more than 1,40,000 vehicles per day.
In the power sector, the Prime Minister will inaugurate Khawra Pooling Station-2 and its associated transmission systems, which will enable transportation of 4.5 GW of renewable energy with an investment of about Rs 3,650 crore.
In the urban and health infrastructure sector, the Prime Minister will inaugurate 44 urban development projects worth Rs 5,300 crore, including 858-bed rain shelter facilities at civil hospitals at Asarwa and Gandhinagar in Ahmedabad and the Government Boys Hostel at Vejalpur for tribal students.
Tourism related initiatives include Light and Sound Show at Rani Ki Vav in Patan, Water Screen Projection Show at Sharmistha Lake in Vadnagar and laying of foundation stone of tourism infrastructure at Balram Mahadev and Vishweshwar Mahadev in Banaskantha.
In the water sector, major projects include the Kasara-Dantiwada and Dindrol-Mukteshwar pipelines, as well as a water supply scheme for Ambaji and surrounding villages, which is expected to benefit about 1.5 lakh people.
Additionally, expansion work will also be taken up on the Sabarmati Riverfront in Gandhinagar with an estimated investment of about Rs 1,000 crore.
