Chandigarh, April 7 (IANS). Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of former cricketer and former Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu, has formed a new party, which has been named Indian Nationalist Party. He says that his party will work to bring back Punjab its lost old glory of being a ‘Golden State’.
Navjot Kaur Sidhu has posted a photo on her social media account X, in the background of which the name of the new party is written as Indian Nationalist Party. Posting this photo, he wrote that the much awaited announcement. He said that we have done a new alternative work at the national level, in which we have deeply studied and evaluated the performance standards of the current political leaders. We just want to dedicate our lives for our country and give the people what they really deserve and expect from us.
Navjot Kaur wrote in her post that it is a divine inspiration, which has brought together some like-minded people who have the ability, confidence, courage and determination to work for every state. Their common goal is to provide justice and peace and to do exactly what Waheguru Ji wants us to do by working with the energy of higher consciousness through love.
He said, “We will move forward to restore Punjab to its old glory of being a ‘Golden State’. A state where people recognize the power of love, living together, justice, freedom and independence. Where people achieve their goals, values and vision by working for the purpose of selfless service and spiritual development without any outside interference.”
He said, “This will be a government of the people of Punjab, for the people and run by the people. We will follow the path of ‘truth and love’ which is the language of Waheguru ji himself.”
It is noteworthy that when Dr. Navjot Kaur accused the Congress of selling the CM’s chair for Rs 500 crore, there was turmoil in the politics of Punjab. From local Congress leaders to the high command, everyone came under attack from the opposition. After that, showing a strict attitude, the party issued a show cause notice to Navjot Kaur.
He left Congress before the party could show him the way out. When Navjot Kaur started praising the central government after leaving Congress, there were speculations that she would join BJP, but late at night she surprised everyone by launching the party by posting a post on social media. However, her husband Navjot Singh Sidhu was not seen with her while announcing the party.
