Hijol. Election activities have intensified in Hijol region of West Bengal. Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP) founder and candidate Humayun Kabir has accused the central government of taking arbitrary decisions. On the non-passage of the Women’s Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha, Humayun Kabir said that earlier also Sonia Gandhi had taken initiative in this direction, but she could not succeed. Even now the progress on this subject has been limited and concrete change can be possible only with the coming of a government with a strong majority in the future. Humayun Kabir targeted the current central government and alleged that the government is taking decisions arbitrarily and is trying to make the country a Hindu nation by making changes in the Constitution. However, he also said that such efforts will not be successful.
He made big claims regarding the upcoming election results. Kabir said that when the counting of votes takes place on May 4, no party will be able to reach the majority mark. He believes that neither BJP nor Trinamool Congress will be able to get a clear majority, which could create new situations in the politics of the state.
Targeting Trinamool Congress, he made serious allegations against Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee. He said that both the leaders are fully involved in corruption and the less said about them, the better.
Apart from this, Humayun Kabir also clarified his position regarding his political alliances. He told that he has supported Asaduddin Owaisi’s party on two assembly seats and is campaigning in favor of the alliance there. He alleged that a leader named Imran Solanki has misled Owaisi about him, but despite this he is sticking to his promise and is campaigning with the aim of defeating Trinamool Congress.
