On Sunday morning, there was chaos in Shivnandanpur village under Sultanganj police station in Bhagalpur district of Bihar, when a young man, upset by the news of his girlfriend’s marriage, climbed a mobile tower. This high-voltage drama with the young man continued for about six hours at the tower. After several attempts, he was finally convinced to descend. During this entire incident, villagers gathered there in large numbers.
According to the villagers, the young man had climbed the tower at around 4:00 in the morning. He was continuously talking to the people sitting above on his mobile phone. It is said that the young man actually works on this tower. As soon as information about the incident was received, a police team from Sultanganj station, SP Saiyam Raja and the fire department team reached the spot. The youth has been identified as Arun Kumar, a resident of Purnia, while his girlfriend is said to be from West Bengal.
**High-voltage drama lasted for 6 hours**
During this high-voltage drama that lasted for about six hours, the police and administrative officials kept trying to pacify the youth. Eventually, after a lot of effort, the young man was brought down safely. After this, the police took him into their custody. This incident is once again a reminder that failure in love sometimes forces people to take such dangerous steps – which can even put their lives at risk.
**People risk their lives**
It is worth noting that this is not an isolated incident; Such cases keep coming to light again and again from different parts of the country, where people are often forced to risk their lives – sometimes for the sake of love, and sometimes in search of justice. On Sunday itself, a similar case was reported from Pashara village of Itarhi block of Buxar district, where a youth broke away from a family dispute and climbed an electricity tower. However, after the father’s diligent efforts, the son finally came down.
