Alwar, May 3 (IANS). Former Congress MLA from Kathumar, Rajasthan, Babulal Bairwa passed away on Sunday. He was undergoing treatment in Jaipur hospital. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also expressed grief over the demise of Babulal Bairwa.
According to the information, Babulal Bairava was ill for about 10 days. He was suffering from BP, sugar and asthma. During treatment in Jaipur, he breathed his last at around 3 am in the morning. His demise caused a wave of mourning in the Kathumar region.
Babulal Bairwa was a four-time MLA from Kathumar assembly seat of Alwar. He won the election for the first time in 1980. After that he was elected MLA thrice on BJP and Congress tickets. In 2018, he reached the Assembly by winning the elections on Congress ticket.
Expressing grief over the demise of Bairwa, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wrote on social media platform
He further wrote, “His experience as an MLA for a long time and his active role in the development of the area will always be remembered. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family in this difficult time. May God give them the strength to bear this loss and may the departed soul rest in His feet.”
Congress MLA Indira Meena wrote, “The news of the demise of Shri Babulal Bairwa ji, MLA from Kathumar (Alwar) is extremely sad. I pray to God to give place to the departed soul at the feet of Shri and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss.”
