Ayodhya . Mahant Sitaram Das Maharaj of Saket Bhawan temple in Ayodhya, UP, while reacting to the swearing in of Suvendu Adhikari as the Chief Minister of West Bengal on Saturday, has called it a historic day. He said that the appointment of Adhikari to the post of Chief Minister is the fulfillment of a long resolution. In a special conversation with news agency , Mahant Sitaram Das Maharaj said that this day is a moment of pride for the Sanatanis. The consecration of Suvendu Adhikari to the post of Chief Minister on the soil of West Bengal is the fulfillment of a long resolution. The goal which was there for about 40 years has been realized today. Anarchy, misgovernance and atrocities have come to an end in the state. He said that now there is hope of getting relief from the incidents of oppression of Hindu community, especially women and daughters, in West Bengal. Earlier, Sanatan traditions and faith were continuously attacked and one had to resort to the High Court even for organizing festivals like Ram Navami. There is an atmosphere of happiness and enthusiasm in the Sanatani society of Bengal. Expressing his gratitude to the people of West Bengal, he said that they have brought BJP to power by giving them huge public support and blessings. Praising Suvendu Adhikari, he said that he fought for the people and Sanatan Samaj and faced many difficulties.
Mahant Sitaram Das also congratulated the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that this victory was possible due to the efforts and energy of both the leaders. He further said that today is a symbol of celebration and joy and a moment of pride for Sanatan culture. Describing West Bengal as the land of ascetics, the land of Mother Chandi and Mother Kali, he greeted everyone on this occasion.
