Kolkata, May 10 (). After BJP’s historic victory in West Bengal and formation of the new government, a grand ‘Fish Festival’ was organized in Kolkata on Sunday. State government minister Dilip Ghosh reached Singhahi, where he participated in the fish festival organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) OBC Morcha to commemorate the historic victory in Bengal.
Dilip Ghosh, while talking to the media, targeted former Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee.
During this time, BJP MLA Tapas Rai was also present with him. A large number of local people, fish traders, fisheries related businessmen and BJP workers participated in this program.
Dilip Ghosh said that Mamata Banerjee spread a lot of lies about Bengal that if BJP comes, then Fish and Rice will be closed. Will ban fish, but that won’t happen. Bengal’s fish is a question of identity and we have come here today for the fish festival.
Along with this, he said that Mamata Banerjee’s government has set back the fish business in Bengal. Now that our government has come, BJP will give more importance to fisheries in Bengal.
He said that fish production is less in Bengal. Fish are imported from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. If the people of Bengal eat fish and rice then why would there not be production? While doing politics, Mamata Banerjee could not even make arrangements to feed fish and rice to the people of Bengal. We will definitely feed fish and rice to the people of Bengal.
He said that even today industrialists are eager to set up industries. Our government will create a good environment in the state regarding this. Everyone will get a chance to work.
