Hyderabad, May 23 (IANS). Political rhetoric intensified regarding the increase in prices of petrol and diesel. Telangana BJP state president N Ramachandra Rao said that due to the global crisis and the ongoing war in West Asia, oil prices have increased in many countries. He said that due to increase in crude oil prices in the international market, Indian oil companies have also decided to increase fuel prices.

In a special conversation with news agency IANS on Saturday, Ramachandra Rao said that in view of the global crisis and the ongoing war in West Asia, many countries have increased oil prices. In India too, oil companies have decided to increase fuel prices, as the rates of crude oil barrel have increased in the international market. In the current situation, this necessary decision has been taken to increase fuel prices. However, compared to other countries, this increase made by Indian oil companies is very nominal and affordable for the common man.

While making a verbal attack on Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR), he said that KTR should clarify why his stand on the issue of Women’s Reservation Bill is like Congress. He alleged that despite not having the numbers in the Lok Sabha, the BRS supported the Congress and attended the meeting called by the then Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

The BJP state president alleged that both BRS and Congress parties in the state are working unitedly against the BJP. Politically, BJP stands alone, but the people are with it. Ramachandra Rao further said that as BJP is becoming stronger, BRS and Congress are coming together on many issues. He alleged that this is why Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is not taking any action against BRS leaders in corruption and other cases.
