Airtrunk will invest Rs 3 lakh crore in India

New Delhi: Technology company AirTrunk has announced plans to invest more than Rs 3 lakh crore and develop a five gigawatt capacity data center in India by 2030. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after meeting Robin Khuda, founder and CEO of AirTrunk, on Friday said that this is one of the largest investments proposed in the digital infrastructure ecosystem of the country. India’s digital infrastructure journey is gaining remarkable momentum, he wrote on social media platform X. Such investments will strengthen India’s position as a global hub of cloud computing and AI (Artificial Intelligence). Additionally, employment opportunities will be created, local supply chains will be supported and innovation-based development will be accelerated.
The Prime Minister said, ‘It is clear that the future of the world’s digital economy is rapidly taking shape in India.’
