Dausa. An uncontrolled car collided with a divider near Dhanawad on channel number 171 of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on Sunday morning. The driver died on the spot in the accident. The husband and wife traveling in the car were injured. Both were going to visit Mahakal in Ujjain. The accident happened even before this. Police arrived on information and took the injured to the hospital. According to the police, Surendra Kumar (50), resident of Mandi Ahmedgarh (district Kotla), Punjab, his wife Neetu (48) and driver Sumit Jain (30), resident of Delhi, were going to Ujjain to visit Mahakal. Suddenly the car went out of control near Dhanavad village on channel number 171 of the expressway in Kolva police station area and collided with the divider. The accident was so severe that the car was blown to pieces.
On receiving the information, the police arrived with the help of local people and took the injured out to the district hospital for treatment, where the driver Sumit Jain was declared dead. The injured Surendra Kumar and his wife Neetu are undergoing treatment in the district hospital. It is suspected that the car went out of control and collided with the divider due to the driver dozing off.
