The Bengal Files Box Office: Director Vivek Agnihotri’s new film The Bengal Files has been released and is making headlines at the box office. The film is based on sensitive historical themes like Direct Action Day and Noakhali riots.

In this way the total net collection of the first weekend was Rs 6.65 crore.

The film has a direct competition with Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Baaghi 4’. While The Bengal Files earned only Rs 6.65 crore in three days, ‘Baaghi 4’ did a business of about Rs 31.25 crore in the first weekend. On Sunday alone Baaghi 4 collected a collection of Rs 10 crore, which is more than the entire weekend collection of The Bengal Files.
The Bengal Files vs The Kashmir Files
Vivek Agnihotri’s previous film The Kashmir Files was released in 2022 and proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. It earned Rs 27.15 crore in the first weekend itself. In comparison, The Bengal Files did a business of only Rs 6.65 crore, ie about 75% less. This clearly shows that the response of the audience is not as strong this time.
