Jaipur/Nagaur/Dungarpur.
Due to the activity of monsoon in Rajasthan, clouds are kind in different districts. Big news of heavy rain and change in weather is coming from Nagaur and Dungarpur districts of the state. While in Nagaur there were showers with heavy thunder, in Dungarpur the heavy rain overnight has thrown life out of gear.
Dungarpur: torrential rain overnight, many areas submerged, flood like situation
Rain has caused huge devastation in Dungarpur district of southern Rajasthan. The torrential rains continued non-stop throughout the night in the city and many areas around it.
Waterlogging and flood situation: Due to continuous heavy rains, low-lying areas, main roads and societies of the city have been flooded. The situation has become so dire in many areas that flood-like situations have arisen.
Life affected: Due to accumulation of several feet of water on the roads and waterlogging in residential areas, it has become difficult for people to leave their homes. The local administration is monitoring the situation and efforts are being made to drain water from waterlogged areas.
Nagaur: Heavy rain with thunder, relief from humidity
The weather patterns suddenly changed in Nagaur city and its surrounding areas. In the afternoon, dense dark clouds covered the sky and heavy rains along with thunder and lightning started in many parts. This rain has brought a lot of relief to the local residents from the intense humidity and heat that they have been experiencing for the last few days. The faces of the farmers have also lit up after seeing this monsoon rain.
