met party leaders
Narottam Mishra met BJP leadership during his visit to Delhi. After the meeting, he said that the talks with the organization were positive and his entire focus is now on ensuring the party’s victory in the Datia by-election. He said that BJP is a disciplined organization and the aim of all workers should be to strengthen the party.
Why was there a protest after not getting the ticket?
Narottam Mishra was expected to get ticket in Datia by-election. But BJP declared Ashutosh Tiwari as its candidate from this seat. After this some supporters of Narottam Mishra started protesting. During the protest, incidents like road jam, sloganeering and stone pelting also came to light. Demonstrations were also held outside the party office at some places. Supporters demanded that the party change its candidate and give ticket to Narottam Mishra.
Attitudes changed after the meetings
Amidst the protest, Narottam Mishra had earlier said that he did not have complete information about the protest. After this he met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and state BJP President Hemant Khandelwal and other party leaders. After these meetings, a change was seen in his statement. He said that now there is no dispute of any kind and all the workers will work together for the victory of the BJP candidate. He also said that he will actively participate in the nomination and election campaign of BJP candidate Ashutosh Tiwari.
Interesting contest in Datia by-election
A tough contest is expected between BJP and Congress in Datia Assembly by-election. BJP has fielded Ashutosh Tiwari, while Congress has fielded Ghanshyam Singh. Political experts believe that Congress was trying to take advantage of the internal differences of BJP. However, after the latest statement of Narottam Mishra, the message has been sent that he stands completely with the party and will support the BJP candidate in the elections.
Now full focus will be on elections
After Narottam Mishra’s statement, the ongoing speculations about leaving the party or any other political option have come to an end for the time being. Now BJP’s entire focus will be on winning the Datia by-election, while Congress is also preparing to put its full strength on this seat.
