After independence, an extended meeting of the Congress Working Committee has started for the first time in Bihar. All national and state level leaders of the party will discuss the future politics, its challenges and crises of the country and Bihar through a one -day meeting today, although Priyanka Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi’s visit to Patna has been canceled.
During the meeting of the Congress Working Committee in Patna, Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the situation in Bihar. He said that since independence, there has been continuous injustice and exploitation to the people of Bihar. The rulers sitting in the Center and the state have crushed the capacity of this state, while the people here are hardworking and talented.
Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge
Former Maharashtra minister and working committee member Yashmati Thakur informed the press about Rahul Gandhi’s address at the ashram. Yashmati Thakur said that Rahul Gandhi said that why is Bihar backward in basic sectors like education, employment, health and industry? The answer lies in the policies of the ruling parties.
Rahul Gandhi said that Bihar was systematically ignored for years. Farmers and laborers are forced to flee, youth are wandering from rate to rate for employment.
He alleged that the ruling leaders only developed their families and loved ones, while the poor people left in the swamp of poverty and unemployment.
The Congress leader said that Bihar has immense natural and human resources. The soil here, the labor here and the people here have the ability to take the country to new heights, but despite this, Bihar has joined the list of the most backward states of the country today.
He assured that Bihar will get its rights and justice when the Congress government comes. He also questioned the policies of the Center regarding floods in different parts of the country. Also emphasized the need for caste census.
Double engine is now spewing engine smoke in government: Bhupesh Baghel
Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that Bihar’s double engine government is now spewing the engine smoke. Pistons are worn out.
Wishing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s longevity and long life, he said that we want them to be longevity, but the BJP is conspiring with him. Baghel was giving information about the meeting of the Congress Working Committee after talking to the press representatives at Sadaqat Ashram.
He cited the address of the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge, saying that at the beginning of the meeting, the leaders refreshed the memories of the freedom struggle while welcoming journalists and workers at the beginning of the meeting.
Kharge targeted the government
Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge has said that our problems at the international and national level are the result of Modi and his government’s failure and his diplomatic failure. This meeting of the Congress Working Committee in Patna is very important.
He said that we are meeting at a time when India is going through a very challenging and worrying phase at both international and national levels. Kharge was addressing a meeting of the Congress Working Committee at Sadakat Ashram today.
He said that Sadaqat Ashram was the focal point of the freedom movement. Established in 1921, this historic office of the Congress has been the work place of many great leaders of the party. I also pay special tribute to him today.
Attacking PM Modi, Kharge said that the Prime Minister, whom the Prime Minister calls “my friend”, is putting India in a big trouble today. Today our voter list is being officially tampered with.
It is important that we should repeat the resolve to save the democracy and constitution of this country by organizing our meeting in Bihar, the mother of democracy.
Election Commission surrounds the issue of vote theft
He said that for the first time the Constituent Assembly was proposed at the All India Congress session in Ramgarh, 85 years ago. Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Sardar Patel, Dr. Ambedkar and members of the Constituent Assembly jointly gave the citizens of the country the right to one person and one vote.
He said that the basis of democracy is fair and transparent elections, but today serious questions are being raised on the fairness and transparency of the Election Commission. There have been revelations in various states, instead of answering those questions, the Election Commission is asking for an affidavit from us.
On the lines of Bihar, a conspiracy is being hatched to steal the votes of millions of people across the country. Vote theft means that ration theft of Dalits, tribal, backward, extremely backward, minority, weak and poor people, theft of pension, medicine theft, scholarship of children and theft of examination. Due to the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, awareness spread among the people of Bihar and they came openly in support of Rahul ji.
Modi government surrounded GST
Kharge said that Mahatma Gandhi’s 100 -year -old ‘Mantra of Swadeshi’, which the Congress used to defeat the British, is missing today. On the other hand, the red carpet is being laid for China. Our imports from China have doubled in the last 5 years.
Today our country is struggling with many problems. These problems are economic recession, unemployment, social polarization and targeting autonomous constitutional institutions and weakening them.
Promise of two crore jobs incomplete, youth wandering for unemployment
Demonetisation and misleading GST derailed the economy. After 8 years, the Prime Minister realized his mistake.
Now the same improvements were made in GST, whose Congress was demanding from day one. Modi ji believes that countrymen should spend more, but when income has not increased in the last 10 years, only inflation has increased, then how will people spend more?
The meeting started with hoisting the national flag at the Sadakat Ashram complex of the capital Patna. Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, former president Rahul Gandhi and a large number of central and state level leaders were present, amidst loud slogans and fiery reception.

Through this proposal, for the first time, the Indian National Congress formally committed itself to formally form a Constituent Assembly and draft a constitution for independent India and adopt itself. After this, another round of history begins – including an outstanding opposition to the organization, which is now celebrating its centenary and has been a staunch opponent of the constitution that came into force on 26 January 1950.
