Uttarakhand News: During the ‘Jan-jan ki Sarkar, Jan-jan ke Dwar’ program organized in Chamoli, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami immediately took cognizance of a citizen’s complaint about contractor registration pending for four days. Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Public Works Department completed all the formalities on the same day and handed over the registration certificate to the beneficiary at the camp site itself.
In the ‘People’s Government, People’s Door’ program organized under the ‘Service, Good Governance and Dedication Service Fortnight’, Mr. Jaideep Singh, a resident of village Kaujpothani of development block Dasholi, lodged a complaint with the Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami about the application for contractor registration for motor road and culvert construction works being pending for four days in the Public Works Department.
Taking cognizance of the complaint, the Chief Minister directed the Executive Engineer, Public Works Department to complete all the necessary formalities today itself and ensure disposal of the application. Following the clear instructions of the Chief Minister, the departmental officers took immediate action and completed the pending process and provided the certificate of contractor registration to Shri Jaideep Singh at the camp site itself. Expressing happiness with the quick solution, the beneficiary expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and said that such camps are proving to be very useful for the common people in solving public problems.
