The Honda ZR-V is the first of the Japanese automaker’s premium products for India and is part of a larger line-up of products in the next two years. It is being offered in a fully loaded model through the CBU route and is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol producing 181bhp of power and 315Nm of peak torque. This is a strong hybrid vehicle in which Honda claims a mileage of 22.08 km per liter.
As expected, the ZR-V’s pricing puts it among its competitors with vehicles like the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron and Toyota Fortuner. The ZR-V’s big role now is to set expectations for the CR-V SUV that will arrive within the next two years as part of Honda’s bigger premium push.
