Mumbai, July 25 (IANS). Opposition parties in Maharashtra on Saturday described the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as a big victory for the youth power in the country.
NCP-SP President and former Union Minister Sharad Pawar said that the struggle and determination shown by the youth for 28 consecutive days at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar in the NEET paper leak issue is really commendable. The Union Education Minister finally resigned today in response to the persistent demands of the protesters. This fight, which raised its voice strongly against oppression without any fear and forced the government to accept moral responsibility against injustice, symbolizes the power of democracy. This is a big victory for the unity of youth power in the country.
The NCP-SP president further said that hearty thanks also go to all the MPs of the opposition parties who, through their prominent leaders, provided moral and parliamentary support to the youth of the country. I feel bound to say that democracy has triumphed in the country, and the credit for this undoubtedly goes to the young generation of the country.
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut wrote in his post on social media platform X that Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, Modi-Shah are not invincible. They will go too!
Congress legislature party leader Vijay Wadettiwar said that before this no Prime Minister had the need to release such a video to defend himself.
He further said that there is a huge uproar over the recently released video reaching crores of people. But this reach is not a reflection of the public’s love. This is artificial propaganda created by hired trolls of BJP’s IT cell.
Wadettiwar commented that if we look at social media today, 95 percent people are seen speaking against Narendra Modi and the BJP government. Anger is being expressed across the country on issues like unemployment, paper scams, inflation and the future of the youth. The number of questions being raised today regarding the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is greater than ever before on social media regarding the image of any Prime Minister. That is why efforts are being made to change the atmosphere through these hired trolls. But propaganda does not change the truth. The youth of the country have now woken up. Only the youth whose trust has brought them to power will hold the government accountable through democratic means. The public’s decision is bigger than any IT cell.
