5 arrested for gambling under Banas culvert, Swift car and cash seized
Special Team (DST) of Tonk Police and Sadar Police Station, in a joint action, arrested 5 gamblers red-handed who were gambling under the Banas Pulia located on the Banas River. In this action conducted under the direction of SP Roshan Meena, betting money of Rs 9,900, decks of cards and a Swift Dezire car were seized from the spot.
Ganja being grown under the cover of sugarcane crop seized, accused arrested with 16.36 kg plants
Mehndwas police station has achieved great success under the ‘Drug Free Tonk Campaign’. On the information of the informer, the police recovered 15 green marijuana plants grown under the cover of sugarcane crop in the field. The total weight of the seized ganja is 16.364 kg. Police arrested the accused from the spot and registered a case under the NDPS Act.
4 interstate cyber thugs who defrauded crores of rupees in the name of trading through Telegram arrested
Tonk Police has busted a gang that cheated people of crores of rupees through online trading and gaming apps through fake Telegram channels. 12 complaints have been registered on the NCRP portal across the country against the four arrested thugs. Police have seized one Scorpio car (S11), 1 laptop, 8 mobile phones and many important financial documents from the possession of the accused.
