According to the information released by the company, net profit (PAT) in the June quarter increased by 129% year-on-year to Rs 2,052 crore. The company’s profit in the same quarter last year was Rs 897 crore. At the same time, a good increase in profit was also recorded compared to the previous quarter (Q4 FY26), when it was Rs 1,679 crore.
Not only the profits, the operating performance of the company was also quite strong. EBITDA almost doubled to Rs 2,853 crore, compared to Rs 1,430 crore last year. The company’s EBITDA margin also strengthened due to better product mix, cost control and operational efficiency.
RR Kabel recorded its highest ever quarterly revenue in this quarter. The company’s revenue grew by 54% year-on-year, driven by strong demand from the domestic market and export business.
The company’s biggest business was the Wires & Cables segment, where an impressive growth of 57% was recorded in revenue. The segment’s profit increased by 105% due to strong demand, better sales and favorable environment in the industry. The company also increased margins on the back of better cost management and operational improvements.
At the same time, good news also came from FMEG (Fast Moving Electrical Goods) business. Due to the increasing demand for premium products in this segment and strong distribution network, the company was successful in achieving operational break-even for the first time, that is, now the business has started moving from loss to profit.
