Vivo’s sub-brand IQOO is fully prepared to launch its new flagship smartphone, IQO 15, next month. This phone will be a better version of IQO 13 launched last year. This Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite will run on the generation 5 chipset. Pre-booking for this has started for this at the official online store of IQO in China.
First signal of launch in India
IQO India CEO Nipun Maria recently shared a teaser of IQO 15 coming to India on X. According to the post, this smartphone may be available in India soon after launching in China. However, the official launch date is yet to be announced.
Focus on powerful chipset and gaming
The IQO 15 will have Snapdragon 8 Elite Generation 5 SoC, which will have a 2+6-core setup. Two prime cores are clocked at 4.6GHz and six performance core at 3.62GHz. In addition, it will have IQO’s in-house Q3 gaming chipset, which improves performance in gaming and multitasking.
Display and design
This phone will have a 6.85-inch 2k Ltpo Samsung Everest display, which will have a refreshing rate of 144Hz and Touch Response 3,200Hz. Its maximum local brightness can reach 6,000 nits and full-screen brightness 2,600 notes. The rear panel of IQOO 15 has been said to have color changing features, which makes this phone look very attractive.
Camera setup
According to Leaks, the IQO 15 will have a triple rear camera setup. This will include a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultravide lens and 3x optical zoom telephoto lens. Official information about front camera and camera features is currently unknown.
Battery and charging
The phone is expected to have a 7,000mAh battery that will support 100W wired and wireless charging. The IQO 15 will also have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Build quality and connectivity
The body of IQO 15 will be rated IP68 or IP69, that is, it will be safe from dust and water. The phone will be launched in China in October and its pre-orders have started. It is also expected to be launched soon in India.
What can be the price?
The base model of IQO 15 in India is expected to be around ₹ 59,999. However, the company has not yet confirmed the official launch price. IQO 15 is expected to come as a powerful flagship smartphone in India, which will include Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, magnificent display, triple cameras and large batteries.
