A very disgusting and embarrassing incident has come to light from the welfare area of Thane region of Maharashtra. A 17 -year -old minor college student here has carried out the incident of gang rape for about five months. This heinous crime was revealed when the victim minor was found pregnant. The police, taking prompt action in the case, have arrested all the seven accused and a case has been registered against them under the POCSO Act. This heartbreaking incident has once again raised serious questions about the safety of women and minors and created an atmosphere of panic in the entire region.
Friendship on social media, then blackmail and rape for five months
According to the information given by the police, this gruesome process started in April this year. The victim, who is a college student, was friends with social media from one of the seven accused. Police said shortly after the friendship, the main accused had sex with the minor victim and during this time made an objectionable video of their intimate moments without her consent. Subsequently, the accused shared this disgusting video with six other friends.
Using this video, the seven accused started blackmailing the victim. He used to force the girl to have constant sex and threatened that if she did not listen to, they would make her objectionable videos viral on social media. Fearing this threat, the victim remained silent, taking advantage of which these poor people committed this heinous crime for about five months.
Virely video revealed, victim found pregnant
This horrific crime came out when the victim’s silence was broken, but in a very painful way. An official said that the victim’s family members saw her objectionable video going viral online. Seeing the video, the family’s senses flew away and immediately questioned the victim, after which the incident of this entire gang rape and blackmailing was revealed.
After the incident came to light, the victim’s medical examination was conducted, in which another heart -wrenching truth came out – she was pregnant. After this long and painful sexual abuse with a minor student, this information broke the mountain of shock on the victim and her family.
All 7 accused arrested, case registered under Poxo
In view of the seriousness of the case, the police initiated immediate action. Based on the complaint of the victim’s family, the police have quickly arrested all the seven accused associated with the incident. All the accused arrested have been booked under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) as well as the Protection of Child Sexual Abuse Act (POCSO). Action under the Poxo Act ensures that criminals can get the harshest punishment for sexual offenses against children.
The police produced all the accused in the court, from where they have been sent to police custody for further interrogation and investigation. Police have said that a thorough investigation of the case is going on and an attempt is being made to find out if there were other people associated with the incident. The incident has once again highlighted the dangerous tendency of social media misuse and increasing sexual offenses on minors. There is a lot of anger and outrage against this incident in every section of the society, and people are demanding a death sentence for the culprits.
