New Delhi, 27 September (). Senior Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi dismissed the rumors of tension between JDU and BJP on seat sharing for the Bihar assembly elections. Tyagi clarified that there is no confrontation between the two parties regarding the seat sharing.
Talking to , he said that since 2005, JDU and BJP have been contesting together in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. There is no question of estrangement. He said that some new parties have been included in the NDA, such as Ram Vilas Paswan’s party, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party and Upendra Kushwaha’s party. He said that there is a continuous talks with these parties about seat sharing.
On the speculation of BJP being in the lead role in Bihar assembly elections, Tyagi said that no such proposal has come from the BJP. The situation of the last election will remain intact this time too.
On the controversy over the slogan ‘I Love Muhammad’, Tyagi said that I am not opposed to this slogan. The Constitution allows everyone to propagate their religion, but I am not in favor of breaking violence and law. He said that if someone takes the law in his hand, the administration will take the strict action.
On recent developments in Leh, Tyagi said that everything is not normal in Leh. No one can support the violence there, but there should be talks between the central government and the agitators to solve the problems of the citizens there.
