Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh on Friday called it a “beautiful stories”, dismissing Pakistan’s claims of killing Indian fighter jets during Operation Sindoor on Friday.
Singh said that there is no evidence in support of Pakistan’s claims, while India shared pictures of the damage caused to Pakistani bases. He said that such claims have been made only to save their reputation and mislead the public.
Addressing a press conference held on the 93rd Air Force Day celebrations in the national capital, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh said, “If he feels that he has killed my 15 jets, he should think about it. I hope that he will be convinced and when he comes to fight again, he will include 15 less aircraft in my fleet. Then why will I talk about it? What happened, how much damage happened, how it happened, because let them know. “
Singh said, “Have you seen a single picture in which something has fallen on any of our airbases, we have been hit by something, have a hangar destroyed or something like this? Keeps. “
He said, “As far as SU-57 is concerned, I just want to say that we have to consider all options, and there is a certain process to include any weapon system in the Ministry of Defense and the Indian Air Force, and the same process will be followed. So whoever comes will depend on what the needs meet and what is the best for us.”
Singh said, “This is one of those options like he talked about SU-57, you talked about Rafael. So it is one of the options that we are available because we had already done our homework in terms of earlier MMRCA contracts, in which we found that Rafale is the most suitable aircraft of those candidates. Any aircraft of that category is immediately required. It does not matter, but yes, it is easy to adopt Rafael. So whatever design house is ready to bring in India, to give us more freedom, I think that design house should be chosen. “
On the news of the establishment of headquarters by terrorist groups in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Air Force chief said that if intelligence information is available, India can destroy such bases accurately.
Singh said, “Obviously, it was expected. Therefore, we are also getting reports that their hideouts are changing and now they will probably make small structure instead of big structures. But if intelligence is available, now we have the ability to go inside any of their hideies. We can destroy them and their hideouts. We will not change our options and our options will not change.”
