Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: Advisory has been issued in view of the convenience and safety of devotees and common people during the festival of Chhath. This advisory has been issued by Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Mahendra Singh. Told that on the occasion of Chhath Mahaparva, it was issued from the District Disaster Management Authority for public safety, convenience of devotees and accident-free event. Guidelines have been issued to prevent drowning. It has been said that worship should be done only at designated and safe ghats. While descending the ghats, keep in mind the slippage and depth of water. Do not leave your family, children and elders alone. Follow the instructions of police, divers, volunteer teams and administrative officials. In case of any emergency, immediately inform 112 or local control room.
What not to do-
-Do not enter the water while intoxicated or tired.
-Do not perform puja at dark or unauthorized ghats.
-Avoid jostling, selfies or noise.
Do not go into fast flowing or deep places.
