Neeraj Mishra Abhishek, Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: The ancient Mahavir Hanuman temple of Aliganj is being decorated with the stones brought for the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. The 80 feet wide and 20 feet high main gate has also been constructed with these stones.
According to Temple Office Superintendent Rakesh Dixit, the temple is being beautified with a budget of more than one crore. The main gate of the temple has been widened. The temples of Shanidev and Mahadev built side by side are also being given a grand look.
Dixit told that everyone from the President to many Bollywood stars have come to visit the temple. A big Mangal fair is also organized in the name of this temple. More than Rs 75 lakh has been spent so far in the beautification work. Soon the temple will be visible to the devotees with different grandeur.
