Unique beauty of Saryu beach in Deepotsav
This time during the Deepotsav, the banks of river Saryu will attract tourists from India and abroad with its unique beauty. The ghats of Ayodhya are being decorated with red sandstone, which are presenting a wonderful combination of antiquity and modernity. The twinkling lights on the waves of Saryu and the garlands decorated on the ghats will make the scene even more picturesque this time.
The beautification work of the ghats is in the final stage under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Tourism Corporation. Inscriptions are being installed at the entrance of each ghat, which will show their religious and historical importance. Lights equipped with modern technology are being installed on the stairs and walls of the ghats, which will bathe the coast in golden glow at night.
From Ram Ki Paidi to Laxman Ghat, decoration work is going on at a fast pace. Umbrellas are being built every 300 meters, where devotees can take rest. Apart from this, facilities like seating arrangements, lighting, toilets, changing rooms, drinking water and ramps are also being developed. Officials say that all the work will be completed by October 15.
During the Deepotsav, the lighting of lakhs of lamps and new decorations on the banks of Saryu will further enhance the glory of Ayodhya. While devotees will immerse themselves in the spirituality of Ramnagari, tourists will enjoy its architecture and divinity.
