Lucknow, Amrit thoughts: Navratri has started from Monday. All preparations have been completed with decoration in the major Devi temples. Major temples including Kaliji Chowk, Kalibari, Sandohan Mata Temple, Durga Temple Shastri Nagar, Chandrikadevi Temple Kathwara will start queuing from morning. Enthusiasm of shopping in women
There was special enthusiasm among women about Navratri. Preparations were made from house to house to install the statue of Mata Durga. Women shopped for worship for worship, incense, camphor, ghee, cloves, havan materials, coconut, urn, mango leaves, mother’s chunari, selected clothes, bangles and flowers. Pooja material shops were crowded throughout the day.
Increased prices of fruits and flowers
As soon as Navratri started, the prices of fruits and flowers were seen as an increase. Apple is selling from Rs 100 a kg to Rs 120 per kg compared to normal days, while banana is selling Rs 50 to Rs 70 to Rs 70 dozen. Fruit vendors say that this increase in prices is normal due to increasing demand in Navratri. The demand for marigold flower was also the highest in Phool Mandi, which reached Rs 200 per kg. Whereas two days ago its price was Rs 170 per kg. According to the shopkeepers, there is more demand for marigold flowers for decoration in temples, pandals and houses during Navratri. The demand for flowers like rose and lotus was comparatively low. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about this festival full of reverence and faith and an atmosphere of devotion and gaiety is visible in the whole atmosphere.

In the midday, there is also a law to do Ghatasthapana in Abhijit Muhurta. Worship of mother Shailputri on the first day
Mother Shailputri is worshiped on the first day of Navratri. Stymal Putri is the daughter of the Himalayas. For this reason, this form of mother is called Shailputri. By worshiping them, we can get all the desired fruits.
Worship method
First of all install a picture of mother Shailputri and lay red clothes on the wooden post below it. Write “Shan” from the saffron on top of it and place the desire on it. After this, offer prasad and chant the mantra of mother Shailputri. Chant this mantra at least 108. After the completion of the mantra number, at the feet of Maa Durga, express your wishes and pray to the mother and perform Aarti and Kirtan.
