Amrit Vichar, Lucknow: On behalf of Sanatan Mahasabha, Maha Aarti of Gomti will be performed at Jhulelal Vatika on 5th November on Kartik Purnima from 6:30 pm. This will be the 144th Aarti to be organized by Sanatan Mahasabha. President of the General Assembly, Dr. Praveen said that along with a special group dance, a competition on the scriptures Geeta, Ramayana, Nation and Physiology and a cultural evening will be organized for children and women. Told that on Dev Diwali, a large number of people will take part in Gomti Bachchan lamp donation resolution and Prasad distribution.
Maha Aarti of Gomti will be done from 11 altars
Kartik Purnima and Dev Diwali will be celebrated on 5th November. Mahant Devya Giri of Mankameshwar Temple told that auspicious coincidences like Shiva Vas are also taking place on Dev Diwali. Puja time is from 5:15 pm to 7:50 pm. Lakhs of lamps will be lit on the banks of Gomti and Maha Aarti of Gomti will be performed from 11 altars. Those attending Diwali with devotion light 11, 21 and 51 lamps. Mahant Devya Giri told that there will also be a Kalash decoration competition on the Gomati banks.
Lamp donation will be done with indigenous resolve
Amrit Vichar, Lucknow On completion of 21 years of Gomti Aarti, 21 thousand lamps will be lit at Kudiya Ghat on the occasion of Baikuntha Chaturdashi on 4th November. Secretary of Roti Kapada Foundation, Riddhi Kishore Gaur said that lamp donation will start from 5 pm on Tuesday. He said that under the Prime Minister’s Self-reliant India campaign, all the people will be given a pledge to adopt Swadeshi on this occasion. Besides, 5 people who are using and promoting Swadeshi will also be honoured. Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma and area MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora, BJP Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi will be present.
