Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: The state government is giving priority to tourism development around tourist places related to all religions while implementing the basic mantra of equality of all religions. In this series, the Uttar Pradesh government has given green signal to the development of tourism infrastructure facilities in Shri Digambar Jain Temple located in Indira Nagar B-Block of the capital Lucknow. Under the Chief Minister Tourist Places Development Scheme, an amount of Rs 1 crore has been sanctioned for this project. This information was given by Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh.
Jaiveer Singh said that the Jain community has played an important role in the all-round development of the state. Taking forward this respect and trust, the Digambar Jain Temple located in Indira Nagar, Lucknow will be equipped with modern tourism facilities. Tourism infrastructure facilities will be constructed at the Jain temple with the sanctioned funds.
Under the project the temple complex will be equipped with modern tourism standards. Special attention will be given to aspects ranging from upgradation of visitor facilities to provision of information signs, comfortable seating areas, clean drinking water, lighting, parking, signage, information points and other aspects.
Minister Jaiveer Singh said that there is also an action plan for the development of important places of Jain Circuit among the 12 tourism circuits of the state. It is our commitment towards Jain temples that major places of faith are being developed by providing facilities to them.
